Lewisville Vienna Road and Robinhood Road Intersection Roundabout

Construction on the new roundabout at Lewisville-Vienna Road and Robinhood Road is began in Spring 2026, and residents may see overhead power lines being moved to new poles already.

The project will take about a year, with an expected end date of Spring 2027. Most of the work is planned for the summer months to reduce impacts on school traffic. This will improve safety and keep traffic flowing more freely.

Here are the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT) guidelines for using a roundabout.

When approaching a roundabout, slow down. Then, yield to any vehicles or bicyclists who are already in the roundabout.

Everyone in the roundabout moves in a counterclockwise direction. Drivers in the roundabout do not yield to approaching vehicles from the surrounding roads.

Drivers should use turn signals when exiting the roundabout and always yield to pedestrians using the crosswalk.
