The Administrative Department of Town Hall is responsible for overall Town operations and is comprised of the Town Manager, Town Clerk, Communications Specialist, and the Receptionist/Special Events Coordinator.
Town Manager, Hank Perkins
The Town Manager is the CEO of the Town government and is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the Town. When the Town Council makes a decision on an ordinance, law, or policy, the Town Manager is responsible for implementing those policies. The Manager coordinates the operations of all Town departments and is responsible for the preparation of a proposed operating budget and its presentation to the Town Council. This annual budget as adopted by Council provides funding, staffing, and general guidance to the Town departments for the fiscal year.
Town Clerk, Joyce Walker
The Town Clerk is appointed by the Board of Commissioners as per N. C. G. S. 160A-71. The mission of the Town Clerk is to prepare and maintain complete and accurate records of the Town Council, Boards and Committees' proceedings, to serve as the official custodian of all permanent records including minutes, resolutions, ordinances, contracts, agreements, deed and easements and various other documents, provide staff support to the Town Manager, Mayor and Town Council.
Communications Specialist, Gennie Taylor
The Communications Specialist is responsible for keeping the residents of Lewisville informed about town programs and services, as well as the actions of the town government. The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing the Town's bi-monthly newsletter, The Lewisville Citizen, brochures, electronic and e-mail communications with citizens, videos, press releases, and other informational materials, as well as managing content on the town's website and Lewisville's Government Access Channel.
Office Manager/Special Events Coordinator, Stacy Howard
The Office Manager/Special Events Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all visitors of Town Hall. The Office Manager/Special Events Coordinator keeps track of all Town facility rentals and fields general inquiries from residents and businesses within the Town. The Office Manager/Special Events Coordinator also coordinates with the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Development Board to plan and execute all Town sponsored programs and community events.
