Governor Roy Cooper has issued Executive Order 141, advancing North Carolina to Phase 2 (Easing of Restrictions) in the State's ongoing response to COVID-19.
EO141 goes into effect at 5:00pm on Friday, May 22, 2020. Unless repealed, replaced or rescinded, EO141 expires at 5:00pm on Friday, June 26, 2020. (Please see the attached chart above)
In compliance with this executive order, the Town of Lewisville has canceled the Starlight Movie Night on June 12 as well as the Street Party/Food Truck Festival originally scheduled on June 20.
We will evaluate the future of remaining events as information becomes available. Shallowford Square and Jack Warren Park remain open, however, the restrooms and playground areas remain closed until further notice. We'll provide updates as they are received.
