Trash Collection Service Update

Due to Tuesday's inclement weather, trash service was suspended on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Waste Management has provided an update on the status of the collection schedule. Please share this with your neighbors and fellow residents.

For those with a normal collection of Wednesday, Waste Management will service those residents next Wednesday, January 24. Because of the one week delay, Waste Management will accept any extra bags that may accumulate due to the lapse in service.

For those with a normal collection of Thursday, Waste Management will provide collection on Friday, January 19. For those with a normal collection of Friday, Waste Management will service on Saturday, January 20. Please ensure carts are placed curbside by 6 a.m.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we all try to dig out from this recent snow event and return to a normal schedule. Wishing all a great weekend with warmer temperatures in the forecast.

CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION BEGINS TUESDAY, JANUARY 16 THROUGH JANUARY 20. PLACE CHRISTMAS TREE AT YOUR CURB BY 6:00 A.M. ON JANUARY 16.

Lewisville Beautification Committee plans holiday drive-through, December 11

The Lewisville Beautification Committee will make its annual drive through Lewisville on the evening of Monday, December 11 to select the best holiday decorated homes and businesses.
This is a long-time tradition for the LBC and members are looking forward to the upcoming event.
In the past the Lewisville Beautification Committee has driven through Lewisville searching for decorated homes and businesses. This year LBC will once again seek input from residents.
Residents are encouraged to nominate decorated homes or businesses for consideration.
Anyone wishing to nominate a home or business should contact Town Hall at 336-945-5558 with your nomination’s address by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 8.
The LBC will use the nominations to guide their route through town.

Any resident or business hoping to be considered should be sure that lights are on and the decorations are visible during the drive-through.
The addresses of the selected homes and businesses will be posted on Channel 6.
