Navigating the Road to Improvement!
Effective Saturday, April 13, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting), a portion of Williams Road will be closed due to construction. This stretch of Williams Road is from Food Lion to the roundabout at the northbound Highway 421 ramp. The closure is expected to last for 12 hours.
This portion of Williams Road will remain CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC during construction. There will be a detour during this time, as shown in the map below.
Detour Instructions
Northbound traffic will use the Shallowford Road exit back to the Shallowford Road/Williams Road roundabout.
Southbound traffic will use the Williams Road exit to Hauser Road, and back to Shallowford Road.
