Lewisville Civic Club Christmas Parade

The 2018 Lewisville Christmas Parade is one of the largest Christmas parades in the Triad. The 35th Annual Lewisville Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at 3:00 pm.

Each year brings more participation than the year before as parade crowds grow larger and larger. There is usually a large number of floats, dance and drill teams, marching bands from local High Schools plus lots of candy for kids of all ages. It is a very exciting event for citizens as we showcase the beautiful town of Lewisville, NC every year.

We encourage Lewisville citizens to come out, join the fun and get your Christmas festivities jump-started.

“For those interested in participating in the parade, now is the time to sign up,” according to Mrs. Maureen Barton, Director of the Parade for the Lewisville Civic Club.

Mrs. Barton can be contacted with parade questions for more information at 336-671-7332 or via email to  For updates about the parade, please visit our Facebook page at Lewisville Civic Club Christmas Parade.  Make sure to like our page to receive instant updates.

As an added attraction this year, we are proud to partner with IFB Solutions, known previously as “Industries for the Blind” to bring a unique event to the town of Lewisville.  This year, prior to the Christmas Parade, we are having a Santa Showdown: Reindeer vs. Elves 2.5 Fun Run.  The race will begin at 2:45p and conclude with the last participant crossing the finish line.  For entry information or to donate to the event,  please visit their website .

After the conclusion of the race, the Christmas parade will begin.  We estimate the parade start time at 3:15p.

Roads into Lewisville will be closed to traffic at 2:30p until the conclusion of the parade at the discretion of Law Enforcement.

The parade point of origin is at the intersection of Shallowford and Lewisville Vienna Roads. The parade then turns at the Oaks Shopping Center on Williams Road, turns again on Belnette and ends at The Shallowford Square.

The staging of parade participants depends on the type of entry and can be found in the rules and regulations listed below.  Signs, safety cones and barricades will be placed the day before the event to inform residents of road closures and delays.

Donations are welcome and as always, are greatly appreciated.
